I love the Blue Guardians so much, the only other guardian who really interacts with their predecessor is Benny but thats cuz Nia is his sister. The rest don't even really know how to contact the past colors. Chiyo has a fairly close relationship with Marcy and Russell(Octavia is a bit distant, but no one really holds it against her)

Russell was always viewed as the "older brother" or "team dad" of the Color Guardians, and now he's literally a dad! Being an actual parent with a Child does cause Marcy to keep him out of the loop at times though. So despite him actually having significantly more experience it's usually just Marcy and Nia mentoring the new Guardians. She doesn't want to pull him back into the Color Guardian life and risk putting his family in danger cuz of it. Especially since he no longer has any color guardian magic(neither does she really, but she doesnt have a Literal Child to worry about)

Russell's husband is the previous Pink Guardian, Dimitri was a bit of a shithead back then and insists he actually did kind of deserve being hit by that car.
