Connections:

They both come from well known NES platformer games that involve traversing through a haunted castle fighting monsters and collecting various weapons along the way and both their games are also infamous for their hard difficulty. while I do prefer different opponents for both (Ryu Hayabusa for Simon and Sir Daniel for Arthur) this seems like a fun matchup
