Description

It's not worth it to be eternally young. My body moves in ways an adult just can't. I am capable of things only a child can imagine....but it comes at a cost. I don't connect to my fellow adults as they grow...and grow old....and I don't connect to kids because I am an adult...I am just this thing that exists, one of a kind, alone in a world that changes without me. Even my experience of life is....different. I see the world from a perspective only a child can understand and....I'm tired of it. I'm tired of being forever young. It's forever lonely.

you make a really good point. people have literally killed for the ability to remain eternally young.. some sci-fi and horror media have been able to show just how horrible staying forever young really is.. just ask claudia (interview with a vampire)

i kinda understand being unique enough to be alone... we are both deficient, but in alternate ways.
