This is a scene I drew last year! It's based on Sonic the Hedgehog 2006: Sonic's story. After Sonic has rescued the Princess from Dr. Eggman, they manage to outrun his robots and arrive in a heavily grassy area. It is here where Sonic and Princess Elise have a genuine interaction, and Sonic teaches Elise a life lesson. :}

I was waaaaayyyy to young when Sonic 2006 originally came out. And I understand that it has a bad reputation because of its glitches, and many fans don't like the story or the characters introduced... and that's totally okay! I used to think the same way, but after looking into the game more and watching reviews and its cutscenes, I discovered that there are so many things I love about this Sonic game and its story and characters that make it super special! The storytelling reminds me more of a movie than just a video game, and I think taht's incredible, especially for Sonic! :} And this scene is truly heartfelt! So I wanted to draw it! :happybounce:
