Welcome to the Miracleverse! AKA, the Disliked Ships AU, but I don't use this as a platform for hate. While the universe is slightly... twisted, they are all options that could have happened in the main TFIMverse. They're a chance to do things with the... standard ships that people have, and using them in new ways, as well as a platform for interesting characters. I want to do some different things with the designs, so I may note the standard designs I tried to avoid with each design. These designs have been done for... an embarrassing amount of time, so expect a lot of the designs at once, I finally decided to upload them. But, since this is a canon character, and I did it today and yesterday, that doesn't quite apply. So instead of 'what I did different' with their children, I'll explain my design choices for each of them!
Honestly, Cheese here is 100% just what Weird Al Yankovic looks like today, ponified. Did you know Weird Al has a beard and mustache now? I find that super weird for some reason, but you know, his choice and all. Anyway, he still has the same shirt, it's just a bit worn, and he's just a bit worn too.
Cheese Sandwich, husband of Pinkie Pie, father of Claystone Pie and unfortunately, brother of (Sub)Marine Sandwich, incarcerated maniac 'visionary chef' who may or may not be a serial killer. (no one is sure, she was secretive and won't confess and it's unclear.) Having run away from home at a young age to escape his sibling, he cut off all ties to them and never informed anypony of his family, which came at a price later on, but that's a bit of a spoiler. Roaming Equestria, you know the story; infatuated with the filly he had met in his childhood, he molded his entire personality off the mythical pink pony he only saw for a day, a day that changed his life forever, becoming what he hoped was more than a caricature of the filly he met, but always doubted, as he had only watched her from afar for a single day; how could he be like her with only one day of information?.... He came back to Ponyville one day as an adult and found himself in a fight with the very mare who he had idolized all of his life; real and just like he remembered and more. So much more that he confessed his secret, that he had tried to be just like her, but she didn't mind. They parted ways, Cheese still wanting to know more about her, and they met once again when his Cheesie Sense brought him back to Ponyville the same year as the the incident in the Crystal Empire; the world needed cheering up more than ever! And it was Rainbow Dash's birthday once again, he met Pinkie Pie again, and they bonded further. He admitted he always had a crush on her, afraid she would find his hero worship strange, but she agreed to date, and well, they agreed on everything. They agreed on literally everything they said with each other, whether it was that they knew each other that well instinctively or that he was copying what she wanted, they worked perfectly.
Some of Pinkie's friends felt as though she was rushing into the relationship; how could they be if they already perfectly fit each other? They agreed on everything, they loved the same things, even the strangest things; and she wouldn't listen to anything else; they were made for each other, clearly! And while it was seen as rushed, everypony agreed, they were... strangely perfect for each other. Perfectly in sync, completely together in every motion they made. It was a bit like they were clones, just different. (Twilight tested, no mirror pool activity, Cheese was very friendly about the accusation, but he's no clone.) They married only months after meeting again, and it was the biggest, most insane, full of fun wedding Ponyville had ever seen or likely would ever see again, though Pinkie Pie's family was insistent on questioning her choices, even in Haymish communities, they would have at least consulted the Choosing Stone, knowing each other for years, living in the same community beforehand... but the stallion seemed perfect for Pinkie, almost eerily, so they blessed the marriage anyway.
They had a child not too long after they married, and we know and love Claystone... and we love her even for her problems. She was a problem child from birth, screaming and crying at no provocation (more than normal babies, I mean), and she was always irritable and had frequent outbursts, with no provocation, out of nowhere... Pinkie and Cheese had no idea what was wrong with their daughter, Pinkie was reminded of her eldest sister, Limestone, but Limestone was never as sporadic with her anger... Cheese was... well, reminded of somepony he was intending to never see again, his sister. Who he had conveniently, totally unintentionally never mentioned to his wife not on purpose. Definitely. Even when Claystone's symptoms got worse, he was afraid to tell her 'well, it's possible that our daughter inherited this from my sister who is currently imprisoned indefinitely while people attempt to figure out if she killed anypony' for obvious reasons, but as it became more obvious that Claystone had something wrong with her and was suspended from her elementary school, forcing them to home school their daughter, he had to tell her, after Claystone apparently heard Pinkie say something so horrible that Claystone threw a vase at her and scarred her throat with the broken shards (with no lasting vocal damage, just a scar).
They had their first and last fight that day; it turned out that Pinkie herself had a hoof in putting Marine Sandwich in jail; she had always known who Marine was, just never that Cheese was her brother... Pinkie Pie hates when people keep secrets, something.. well, Cheese never knew. But he'd never Pinkie Promised to tell her about his family; she never thought to do that, since she assumed he was a 'Lonely only child' in her words (gotta brighten up the world with rhymes). She remained mad for almost two days, an eternity in Pinkie Pie time, but forgave him as long as he Pinkie Promised never to ever keep anything secret from her, ever. He made her super Cheesie Promise to do the same, (he totally had one, he didn't make it up to match his idol!) and they agreed to visit Marine in jail to ask her psychologists what she had... but they came up with two things, one; that Marine Sandwich had become sic_k_ with a mysterio_u_s disease that the docto_r_s didn't have a cl_u_e about, and that whatever it was, the disease was deteriorating her sanity (even further) and making her diagnosis even harder. They could only give Pinkie and Cheese some pointers as to what it could be, if they checked Pinkie's side of the family for any mental instability as well, that would help.
Diagnosing their daughter didn't solve their problems, as medication in Equestria is much less specialized than in our world; ponies rely on magic for most illnesses, even mental ones, supplementing with herbs, but there was also the issue of Claystone's refusal to comply with them and her anger issues, what eventually happened was during a trip to the Rock Farm to celebrate Maud's wedding to Trixie (long overdue with three foals, they put it off for too long), Claystone met her grandparents for the first time after her issues began to take over her brain, and she asked them how come they were so calm always. Pinkie and Cheese encouraged Claystone to keep exploring that train of thought, finding ways to cope on her own, and she eventually got her cutie mark after she decided she wanted to convert herself to the Haymish teachings her grandparents accredited their calm and happy lifestyle to, and for a while, Cheese and Pinkie were happy to say her fixation kept her focused, though she still had her outbursts, it felt like it was helping... for a while.
Claystone's teachings, as Pinkie's parents had originally said when they met Cheese, said that her parents union was wrong for not letting the Choosing Stone pair them; it was obvious that while she had learned from Pinkie's parents, she had, well taken it further and farther to 'fix' herself. And it's still not fixed. Their child is still incredibly unstable, and Cheese has to admit, he's scared of his daughter, very much... but he loves her, and he loves his wife.
They have a picturesque relationship, in a sickening way, almost. They agree on almost everything they do and work in harmony like a well oiled machine... or twins. Or clones. They rarely fight over anything of differing opinions, being so close in personality, their household is like an echo chamber where the two are perfectly in sync in everything they do. They met again at the anniversary of Rainbow Dash's Birth-iversary and, well, they happened. It was pretty much the perfect match. Their only issues really stem from their daughter, but they don't let her know that. Of course, she assumes anyway, but they don't blame her. Sometimes her traditionalist disapproval can put a damper on things, but they're just too cheerful to be put down. They just hope their daughter will find her way religiously or otherwise, and find happiness. Unfortunately, the free spirited approach isn't exactly working. But they won't give up hoping.
