I was inspired to draw this from seeing a drawing of Lucy crying and holding Natsu who's badly hurt and looks like he's dead or dying. Well, I don't think anyone has done it the other way around so I decided to do it. I won't be surprised if someone has already done something similar to this. I wanted to do this because you rarely get to see Natsu's vulnerable side. There are some really bad anatomy issues with this but I'm still happpy with the way this turned out. Being the huge Lucy Heartfilia fan that I am, Lucy is not going to die, trust me. But in this moment, she's very close to dealth's door. Happy is pretty heartbroken at this moment too and doesn't really know what to think about the situation.

I have a cute solution for how Natsu could save Lucy. Let's say that Wendy, Carla, Erza and Gray (in other words Team Natsu) arrive in the nick of time but Wendy doesn't have enough healing magic to heal Lucy so Natsu comes up with the idea of Wendy transfering some of her healing magic to him somehow which Wendy doesn't question because she understands Natsu's determination. Once she doe it, Natsu immediately kisses Lucy on the lips to revive her (much to everyone's surprise) and it becomes a super romantic scene. Like this:

After Wendy had transfered some of her healing magic to Natsu, he didn't hesitate to press his lips against Lucy's in an attempt to help her.

Everyone was surprised by this gesture at first but soon they were all watching with bated breath, hoping that this little exchange would be enough to save Lucy.

"Lucy, please okay..." Natsu said softly, tears falling down his face.

As soon as this was said, there was a low cough from Lucy. Opening her eyes slightly she stared up at Natsu.

"N-Natsu?" She questioned weakly.

"Lucy! You're okay!" Happy shouted, wiping tears from his eyes and smiling widely.

It took a moment for Lucy to fully register what was going on since she had been unconsisious for a good while and when she finally realized what had just happened, she blushed deeply. Natsu noticed this, and looking away, he blushed too. But he still held her in his arms.

Happy, and everyone else just smiled, knowingly.

I'm pretty sure it isn't possible for Wendy to transfer her healing powers to Natsu in the way that I explained but it's still cute, right?

Please don't comment on the lousy background. I know that it sucks. I gotta practice more... that's the only way I'm gonna learn to do better backgrounds.
