The beginning of the Dragon Islands

I, along with many other dragons, were flying across the massive ocean. We were looking for new homes for our old ones had been destroyed by volcanos and mane other creatures. Our leaders lead us through the sky, we often flew down to the water for a quick meal, if we could catch anything that is. We had been flying for a full month now, landing on Sea stacks for a short rest before taking off again. Some of the friendlier dragons were carrying those who are unable to fly themselves. My 3 daughters were riding on my back. Suddenly one of the leaders call out, they saw something in the distance. I fly over to get a better look; islands, there were islands, many islands. Many of us smile, hoping our restless journey can finally end. My daughters look down from my back to look at the islands. There were at least 23 of them.
