Well kids, it's Inktober again,
and although there are multiple "whatever-tobers" going on nowadays
I once again decided to just follow the old Inktober word prompts.
Maybe next year I'll try one of the others "-tobers"
and/or maybe even mix it up with the various different
October drawing challenges all throughout the month.

ANYWAY.....

For the 1st pic of Inktober this year (crystal),
I wasn't sure what I wanted to do.

Some of my drawing buddies suggested some Steven Universe related pic,
but I thought that many other submissions and pics would probably be doing just that.
So that idea was out.

My next idea was to recreate the scene in The Dark Crystal
where Jen jumps onto and slams the shard into the Dark Crystal.
.....BUT.....
then I glanced over to the shelf next to my desk and spotted my old
SpaceGodzilla toy with the little red button on the chest
that make a cute little SpaceGodzillla "roar" when pressed.

At this point my mind was made up, and here we are.

Ink on paper with a little Photoshopping here & there.
