The match up is kind of unfair as Sam can easily cut down Jack with a gunpowder boosted Iai draw. Sure Jack's sword is indestructible, but he doesn't have a fancy scabbard like Sam's due to his medieval Japan origin meaning he'll be slower on the draw resulting in Jack's death.
