Just a cute drawing of a girl named "Yuko Yurei" who is my Cooking Companions oc I guess I could lore drop about theme here! note: "Boris" is the brother of Yuko.
A Yuko's and Boris's mother and father passed away and they had to live with their aunt (Yuko's mothers sister), who was an alcoholic. Yuko and boris didnt mind this at all. the aunt didnt like Yuko very much because her aunt fell in love with her father but Yuko's mother married him first, so her aunt always hated Yuko's family. Her aunt decided to take out her anger on Yuko and she never let her go to school or make friends, her aunt also hated Boris and forced him to work hard everyday after school, after a few months of this torture their aunt started to act *weird* she was always out at night and she was always asleep during the day, Yuko noticed a few blood stains around the small house they lived in but she ignored them. of course, Yuko eventually couldn't handle having to be stuck inside and have no friends, so she tried to speak up about it to her aunt but ended up having a glass bottle thrown at her. she never tried to speak up again after that. one day she found pills on top of a dresser she didn't know what they did so she took way too many. for the first few hours she was fine. she went outside by the woods to play with her brother, who wasn't supposed to be playing. she started to feel dizzy and she fell to the ground, she couldn't move but she could still see and hear. boris screamed and the aunt heard. she went outside and was angry that boris was playing and that Yuko was outside. she took a nearby axe and threw it at Boris's chest and he died instantly. Yuko couldnt do anything, just watch. she ended up dying a few moments later from the overdose of drugs.
then, she woke up. she wasnt a human but a mushroom
