In the new Almanac it reads that Swindle manufactured two Starscream clones, Dirge and Thrust, in order to use them as bodyguards. Not with much success, since they turned out to be rather annoying. Dirge most likely hoards all energon and Thrust whines constantly about how he deserves something more than anyone else.
