5. The last of the lanterns:

The village is launching the last batch of lanterns, although, not all together.

Rather, everyone is scattered, launching their lanterns (or what's left of them)

into the sky, in hopes of sending off those lost in the fire with one last lighting.

An unsettling aura of melancholy and regret passes from villager to villager,

as the smoky, gray skies begin to fill with little, yellow lights. Farewell, friends.
