Siasta (Scimitar) Class ECW Walker by SvetTheFallen on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

The Siasta (Scimitar) Class Heavy Recon Walker is a forward support unit vehicle. Meant to move with forward strike units, the Siasta becomes a powerful platoon or company support platform that can utilise offensive ECW systems towards hostile forces.

The Siasta's primary offensive weaponry is electronic counter-measure weaponry designed to confuse, jam or otherwise disable hostile guidance and or detection systems.

The Siasta carries the AI-2/A Chemrail Auto-Cannon System found on other Hegemony vehicles. These rapid-fire cannon shoot (Fin Stabilized, Discarding Rail Accelerator Sabot) rounds which are used against aircraft, light armor, and infantry positions or infantry. It is the most popular weapon with crews due to the ability to inflict damage and long range of the cannon.

Other models are known to carry the HA 2RS-PA-A/3 Repeating Subduction Pulse Autocannon: This weapon is the standard ranged weapon for the naval variant walkers but not typically the Hegemony Army Services. It is designed as a short range anti-armor and infantry weapon. The cannon can be aimed up or down 60 degrees.

The weapon termed subduction pulse autocannon, is based on research into neutron energy technology, of which the weapon is a type of directed-energy. This weapon uses a high-energy beam of atomic or subatomic particles to damage the target by disrupting its atomic and/or molecular structure with an added concussive impact with a blast equivalency of one and a half kilograms of high explosive.
