Description

I've always loved mythology art, especially mythology art that focuses around a magical, almost desert vibe? I was feeling very inspired by that genre recently but wasn't quite sure how to portray it in a piece, so who do I paint when I don't know what to paint?.......Enmu!! I was actually quite surprised this worked so well with him, it makes him look truly ethereal in some way, almost like Hypnos (the Greek/Roman god of sleep). This was a pretty fun sketch/quick painting to make, let me know what you think! :>

what a beautiful blend of stories and mythos! i think he looks gorgeous here! the headdress is stunning and i think he would have too much fun with Hypnos' abilities. he would be almost unstoppable. what a lovely piece!! stunning as always. :love:
