This is a great shot, with fantastic detail in the mask and the composition draws the viewer in to her eye like a magnet.

The model's calm expression and direct eye contact seem to fit the image title and theme particularly well. Shooting from above adds to the sense of anticipation.

I think there are 2 technical things that could improve this image. The bright area of veil above her eye is a little distracting so close to the main point of interest, and could be burned in some. I also think the line of her chin could be better defined, as in Masked Ritual II.

Overall a great idea, well executed.
