This gryphon's based specifically on the forest kingfisher! They're colored very similarly to one of my favorite birds, tree swallows, but they're an even deeper blue This bird's definitely made it onto my list of favorites. I had a lot of fun with this design! Too tired to shade, but I tried to add in a bit of feathery texturing with the different shades of blue. :>
