Description
The remains of the Cistercian Valle Crucis Abbey in Llantysilio, Wales. It was founded in 1201 by Madog ap Gruffudd Maelor. The abbey was dissolved in 1537 by Henry VIII, along with many other religious houses that found themselves on the losing end of the Reformation. It was then left to fall to ruin. The name is Latin for "Vale of the Cross".

Really nice - I think this is even better than the colour version. B&W photographs allow to focus on architectural details more, especially tracery - well done!
