CAT by T-M-Wolf on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

So I keep seeing this TFSona thing going around so I figured I'd try it out, and then just... went places? :'D

Anyways, this is CAT--Cybertron Activity Tracker. She is considering changing her name to Geoid, but she's kind of fond of CAT after all these years, even if it's a designation based off her function.

As one might guess, she's a Geologist! But for Cybertron (and Cybertronist sounded weird, and geologist still worked anyways). Basically, she studies the activity--be it seismic, erosional, energon-based--of the planet and then records, researches, and makes predictions on it.

If you're looking for where Energon will be, she can tell you that.

If you're wondering if a certain plate is safe to build a city on, she can tell you that.

If you're wondering how much the erosion of the Sea of Rust is causion, she can tell you that.

If you're wondering what metals the plates are made of, she can tell you that.

If you're wondering the date of some metal, she can tell you that (within limits).

If you're wondering about the stress in the metal plates, she can tell you that easy.

Basically, she knows her planet like the back of her hand (besides how the core works, because that's a whole different story, and religious people and government leaders were kind of unhappy about her wanting to analyze it and run... "tests"), and what makes it up... and what makes up Cybertronians--elemental-wise. She's a fanatic on it, too, and loves discovering caverns beneath the plates and how they all move. It's almost as if the planet is a living being, but that would be crazy. Unfortunately, her job can get into her dangerous spots, but she's not afraid to hike and climb and traverse the environment. She's built for it anyways with her all-terrain alt mode, tough armor, and scanners to tell her everything she needs to know about her surroundings. She knows a bit about fighting, too, and some of her favorite techniques involve bringing the landscape into the equation and using it to her advantage.

Overall, though, she a fairly bright-demeanor, stubborn 'bot with a sassy attitude and a comeback always ready and waiting on her tongue. She's got a slight taste for drinking--though not too excessively--and she can be a bad flirt. As in, she's very, very, very (hilariously) bad at it. She's good at jokes, though, so that's something. Some of her drawbacks include that she can be stubborn when it comes to certain things (like work) and that, while she can socialize alright for a while, she has a limit at some point and will prefer solitude when she hits it unless she's with a small group of friends. Strangers she's wary of, but can easily strike conversation, so she's got that going for her, which is nice.

Oh, and don't worry--she can talk about things OTHER than geology, too (although she'll totally tell you all about how the plates shift and move and how the Sea of Rust happened and when if you want).

She's also not batman.
