LiteratureCrystober '21 - Pet CostumeSitting in the caverns with Maria & Iris, they were discussing costumes for themselves, but also their pets. Since Tae had just gotten Hallow, she wanted to do something fun for their first holiday together. Most people would think it’s weird to dress up their pets, but that's the kind of pet mom Tae wants to be, to some degree. Some people get a little too weird into the pet costume thing, but she would never get that way. Everything she wanted to do would be simple for Hallow to get in & out of & be comfortable. “So, what do you want to do for Hallow?” Iris asked “I am not sure. Maybe something cute like a spider.” Tae replied “That would be interesting. With the name Hallow, a spider would fit the category really well.” Maria added. “I was also thinking of a little ghost or Bat Cat. Ya know, to play off Spider Pig, but make Bat Cat a real thing.” “That idea is MAGNIFICENT!” Maria & Iris exclaimed. “Thanks! The other girls all looked excited. “Baking will be so much fun.” Lea smiled “I can’t wait to make some creepy crawlies.” Arachne added. “But, what will we be baking?” Maria questioned. “Whatever you all want to do. I have purchased & gathered tons of ingredients so we can all make whatever makes us happy.” Tae smiled, pointing to her full counter. “I can’t wait to bake with everyone.” Rosalina smiled. As all the girls gathered around the kitchen counter, they chatted & gossiped about what they were each going to make here. Cookies seemed to be the main consensus because they would be easy, but they also have a TON of cutouts they can use to make things really fun. Getting to the ticket booth, purchasing their wristbands & entering, they were both amazed at how big this city goes with a carnival. As they walked around, they bought cotton candy & were debating on what ride they should do first. Man, there were so many they could enjoy, but what should be their first? “Well, we have to save the ferris wheel for last.” Maria told Tae “I agree, but what ride should we do first? The Scrambler?” Tae suggested. “Ooo. That would be fun. You get to sit on the inside though. I want to squish you.” Maria smiled. “Okay, fine.” She smiled back. Standing in line, the 2 got on & smiled. As the ride started off, it was slow but then picked up. And of course, Maria squished Tae. The two were laughing & smiling the whole ride. Getting off, they just started hitting different rides, with no real plan of attack. In between some rides, they gotLiteratureCrystober, Day 24 - Shooting StarAs the afternoon changed to evening, Mai was just finishing up with some baking before the girls show up. Setting the pies on the island, she smiled. As tae left her room, the front doorbell rang. Running to the door, Tae swung it open happily. Standing there, Vera, Maria, Iris, Estela & Rosalina. All the girls were finally together. "Hello." Mai said smiling happily. "Hello." Rosalina said softly. "I made pie with the apples we picked Rosalina. Please, take one with you tonight." Mai told her. "Everything smells great!" Vera said excitingly "I can't wait to have some of Mai's treats! They're the best!" Maria smiled. As the girls filed in, Mai, Estrela & Rosalina headed for the kitchen to talk sweets, while Tae & the rest headed for her room to chat. Closing the door, they started talking about anime & music. After they checked their phones, they retired back to their sleeping bags & started talking softly among themselves. They laugh, joked & smiled. "So, i thought it would be a lot of fun to talk about some childhood things. Did everyone have a favorite stuff animal?" Tae asked "I know i did." Mai answered immediately. "I had this wonderful, stuffed, fuzzy giraffe i got form the zoo when i was 5. His name was 'High Top'. Boy, did i love him. He was my best friend & we went everywhere together, did everything together." "Awwww." Maria said happily. "I know. I wasn't exactly the girliest girl like i am now. High Top & I used to go on rugged adventures into the woods behind my parents home, built sheet forts, watched movies together. Winter we our favorite time of year. Lots of sledding. He was my co-pilot when it came to sledding. We had the best time together. I actually still have him sitting in my room on my shelf." Mai
