Animaniacs Radio Show
Original Airdate: Circa 2015 Intro Good morning and welcome to Andy See’s (mostly) Rock N’ Roll Variety Show, and you just heard the first time I have ever played a song before I started speaking! I’m hoping that a lot of children are listening because today’s show is especially appropriate for them. The show in question is Animaniacs, which ran from 1993 to 1997 and is generally considered second only to Batman: The Animated Series as the best cartoon of the 90’s. Considering that this was the Animation Renaissance, that is saying something! Anyway, this show had various characters with their own

Chuck Berry Radio Show
Intro Welcome to Andy See’s (mostly) Rock N’ Roll Variety Show! It has occurred to me that I rarely (if ever) cover music made by African-Americans and have never made a show for an artist associated with the 1950s. In addition, July 4th was two days ago, so I need something All-American for that holiday. Chuck Berry fills all those requirements for me. Charles Edward Anderson Berry was born in 1926 meaning he was almost thirty years old when he started his career. He lived in a middle-class black family in St. Louis, MO for his childhood and adolescence, but even in a state that wasn’t too harmful to black fo

Dire Straits Radio Show
Intro Good morning Indiana, PA and whoever else might be listening and welcome to Andy See’s (mostly) Rock N’ Roll Variety Show. Well, I hinted at this in my Rock Star Show two weeks ago, so I might as well do a show about Dire Straits. Actually, it might be wrong to call Dire Straits a band since they were basically Mark Knopfler, and whatever musicians he deemed worthy as he refused to let even his brother Dave write songs in the short time he was with Dire Straits (for the record, Kevin Rowland was as much of a control freak with Dexys Midnight Runners). In any case, if you have just listened to bombastic music like Que

The Monkees Radio Show
Original Airdate: Early June 2015 Good morning and welcome to Andy See’s (mostly) Rock N’ Roll Variety Show. Today, we start a special month. With great fame comes great haters, and obviously not everybody is going to like your music. However, for some bands and artists, it can reach ridiculous proportions. Welcome to Musician Pariah Month, in which I give hated bands and artists their due. Now as my 50’s/60’s artist, there were only a few choices from Spin’s 30 Most Hated Artists. The only other choices were Lawerence Welk and Pat Boone. Thankfully, I chose The Monkees. They were hated for be

Fall 2022 Pop Song Rankings
I’m finally back. After not posting any deviations on this page, I finally have something else to post here. My lack of posting wasn’t out of any sort of cruelty, it was just because I didn’t have any ideas. So what brought me out of this pseudo-retirement? Well, one of the music critics I follow is Sean-Fey Wolfe. He runs Diamond Axe Studios and makes high quality videos about pop music both past and present. In the last month or two though, one of his grandmothers got really sick and he has to look after her. Therefore, he can’t really make any videos on his own right now. Unfortunately, he has mold in his walls and needs to put out a new video so he can get the money to get new walls. Therefore, he commissioned us to send in our opinions of these songs so he could stitch them together into a video. That’s quite a problem to have and I hope Sean doesn’t fall into financial ruin because of this problem. I did my part by making little reviews of every song he assigned even
