Be Still My Heart

Be still my heart; It's only once in a lifetime. Only once, and only for one. This man introduces a new paradigm. Be still my heart; You might become overbearing. Just calm and kind and cuddly. Make him comfortable by sharing. Be still my mind, For you are not needed. It takes no knowing. Only feelings are heeded. Be still my mind; Logic doesn't define this. I love him beyond reason, beyond love. Infinitely in trance-like bliss. Be still my heart; Just once in your lifetime. He loves you; how lucky you are. There's no more mountain left to climb. Be still my heart; There is no such thing as perfect, But he is the best. Your position is one to protect. Be still my mind; Love is a mindless thing. You know it has always been so, But this time, he is my everything. Be still my mind; Failures before don't mean failures now. He will be different. This will be forever somehow. Be still. Just be still. Only once, I will. Only once, by him. Only once,

Coyote Waits

Never judging, but never free, At home, the coyote waits for you. Never alone, but always lonely, As you are. It's nothing new. Everyday, always trying to be better, At home, the coyote waits for you. Always thankful, never thanked, Patient pacing, whole day through. Always with energy, always with joy, Patient canine waits everyday. Never mind treating him as an emotional toy, Still the coyote waits anyway. 'Tis not his to complain, always the same, All he wants is to wait for you. After all, there's nothing to blame. At home, the coyote still waits on you. Mind not his feelings, he doesn't care. After all, he wants to be with you. Lack of attention, lack of expression, At home, the coyote waits for you. Tolerant yet frustrated, patient yet bored, All he wants is to be called yours. Content but not satisfied, healthy but sore. Confident coyote, but inside insecure. A want for love, a want for play, The coyote waits for you everyday. It doesn't matter what others say, So he's

The earth works the same way; We try to harm it, we grow and spread. It grows hot in an attempt to kill, It won't stop until we stop or we're dead. In the end, a virus may end killing it's host, In which case the virus is also dead. Or perhaps the host will kill t

Give Me a Dose

Every move takes me farther away. My dreams grow more tired everyday. Tired of living. Tired of wanting to die. Leave me alone. Put yourself in my shoes. You don't understand. Either way I lose. Doctor! Listen to me! My mind is tired, my body a mess. I have to rest for awhile. So I can restart fresh. Give me a dose of something. Something that'll let me leave this world. Just for a short time, So I can dream I restarted tenfold.

Writober 23rd, 2020 (Void) - Ruba'iyat

In the void of existence, where we stand, May I have permission to hold your hand? No? Okay. That's okay after all. Here with each other we shall instead stand. I do not genuinely understand. Where did life become like this so bland? Colliding with emotional walls, I have learned that life is a void of sand. Let me close eyes and fade into the void. Let me not be him that one might avoid. Where now at here are we yet to stand? All the points I made are null and void.
