Beyond Homeworld: Chapter 3: Lost As the speed of the escape pod increased, Sapphierious stared into the void of space where his beloved ‘Star Crab’ once was. Sound was inaudible, the screams of his friends faded into an abyss of loss. The red emergency light dimmed and the turbulence ceased; with a sudden slam the escape pod collided against dense cluster of trees of an ancient forest. As the pod bounded over the ancient tree tops, bits and pieces of the escape pod and tree’s were hurled in all directions. As the escape pod slowed down, it tumbled violently into a heap of debris in an overgrown field.. From the impact no
