The Ancients Timeline (Head Cannon)

This is my interpretation of the Timeline of the Ancients. Timeline 60+ Million years ago - The Alterans, over the course of millions of years, evolve into a spacefaring interstellar civilization (this expalains why the Ori and Ancient technology is very similar, it was established before the split and mostly functions the same with only visual elements that are different) - The Alterans undergo a civil division, splitting between the Ateran and Ori factions. - The Ori attack and massacre the Alterans - The remaining Alterans choose to leave their Home Galaxy to avoid destruction by the Ori (The Alterans Use a Ship with an FTL Drive, inste

Thoughts on the Wraith King (Head Cannon)

I recently re-watched Atlantis and 2 things caught my eye. One was the Gate Bridge. It seems like such a good plot device that they just let go. And the other was when Sheppard almost turned into a Proto-Wraith. I thought "What would happen if you had it happen the other way and a Wraith became more Wraith?" We've seen 2 occasions where Wraith seemed to be more that normal. 1 - The episode "The Defiant One" S1E12, The Wraith that survived on the planet did so by feeding on other Wraith and became ridiculously stronger as a result. 2 - And in the episode "Submersion" S3E18, The Wraith Queen also seems to be abnormally strong (not as much as t

Tau'ri Fleets as of 2016 (Head Cannon)

As of 2016 the Tau'ri currently operates 6 Patrol fleets, 2 Operation fleets, and 1 Home fleet. This makes up the bulk of all Tau'ri ships. Several vessels operate outside of this structure (the Daedalus, the Apollo, the Gorge Hammond, and the Odyssey operate as free agents. There are also 8 SE-503 Zheng Class Scout Explorer ships that operate on their own.) Production of ships has slowed since the completion of the Home fleet, this is mostly due to the lack of qualified personnel (with the Stargate program still secret it is harder to transfer personnel without leaks), and the costs of building and maintaining so many vessels. Each fleet do

Lucian Alliance Design Style (Head Cannon)

The Lucian Alliance is a crime syndicate with aspirations of empire. They took over many Goa'uld holdings and vessels when the Goa'uld fell from power. However many of their ships have since been destroyed or damaged in conflicts with the Free Jaffa Nation and the Tau'ri. Not having the infrastructure necessary to mine and process materials for their shipyards, the Lucian Alliance has taken to salvaging material from battle sites and using that material in their ships. Because building Ha'tak class vessels requires substantial resources, the Lucian Alliance has begun to build new, less resource intensive designs to supplement & support their
