Description

With the mermaid off deep in the darkness and out of sight, the next logical step of course was to make a research outpost in the living room. They chose the living room due to its expansive windows and ample research material. Luckily, these brothers were extremely adept in the art of fort-making. The younger brother Isaiah's mom was something of a connoisseur of pillow forts, and kept a chest of fort materials stocked for the boys next to the couch in case of emergencies. This certainly seemed to qualify. Did it take a considerable amount of time away from observation and research? Yes. Was it necessary? Also yes. With their outpost established, the brothers took to their individual duties. Isaiah stood posted on the couch, trusty binoculars in hand, and older brother Noah tore through all available texts on the topics of mermaids and bioluminescence.
