Drew this in between homework and commissions. A smackeroo is more silly than a peck on the shoulder, but smackeroo is a more fun word.

Okay so first things first: apparently I ship Borra, but I won’t get too far into the dynamics. Secondly: I never dream about existing characters or people. Usually it’s my own epic adventure dream constructs.

But! The other night, I had a long Borra dream, which reeeeeally weirded me out because I’ve never been shipper-y enough to dream about the characters involved! It wasn’t a very detailed dream; just something like Korra and Bolin practicing their pro-bending and fitness and just generally being very strong and awesome and fit, and then they take a break and Bolin has a tender moment out of nowhere and makes a kissy face on Korra’s shoulder.

And that was it. But the imagery was so sweet that I couldn’t help but sketch it first thing when I woke up. That’s what makes me saddest; it would have been really cool to see the comic relief guy hook up with the lead, and get to see his sweet, tender, serious moments come out of nowhere. Guess I'll always end up going for the non-canon ship. *sigh*
