Description

Everyone knows that Fraggles are bit fans of ice hockey, right? In fact, they are, but they play a version called Rock Hockey with bean bags, goalie creases, basket ball hoops and half-a-dozen other things that is more like a mixture of games than hockey. This is all explained in an episode called "Rock Hockey Hanna" in the original series. In the episode, Gobo is the captain of the team called the Gorg Bashers or Gorg Thumpers ... I don't recall which. It is played on a smooth stone surface with a slippery plant -- Grease Berries, I think -- bound around the foot. I prefer to portray the game as more similar to the actual game, without hoops and soccer balls. In competition with Gobo's champion team, Darl has organized the "Great Hall Grizzlies." This elderly fan is too old to play, so sits comfortably on the sidelines.
