A waitress stood next to a seated man. This man held emerald orbs and had shaggy golden locks. He looked at her as she poured his tea, Earl Grey. "Is your name ______?" he asked in a small voice, his British accent was thick.
"Why, yes...yea it is." she giggled. "How did you know?"
"Just a lucky guess I suppose." he smiled. "My name is Arthur, Arthur Kirkland."
She smiled in return."It's a pleasure to meet you, Arthur."
To Arthur, her smile was comforting, it was so nice to see her face again. From her absolutely stunning (e/c) to her beautifully soft (h/l) (h/c). Her voice was like an angel's, oh how he wished you remembered him.
"Is there anything else I can do for you?" she questioned, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Actually, yes. Accompany me while I have my tea, I'd like to have a chat with you."
"Uhm,.." she glances at her watch."Okay, it is my break now." She proceeded to blush a rosy color as she took the seat across from him. "So what would you like to talk about?"
"What's your view on superstition?" he inquired with a sweet curiosity.
"Magic~" she giggled, it reminded him of a child."I believe in all things magical~"
This was definitely the girl he had been spent a long time searching for. Everything was exact.
Their chat lasted a long time, in fact it went through ______'s entire break until she was being pestered by other employees.
"I'm very sorry I held your attention for so long ______." Arthur apologized.
"It's fine, it doesn't happen too often so they won't mind." _______ gave him a loving and heart warming smile.
"If you don't mind me asking....Would y-you like to meet up another time?" He blushed and looked away.
"I'd love to."
This one conversation set their life into a bittersweet spin of love. I say bittersweet because they loved one another, but never told each other. They were both always too bashful to get the bloody words out. Even after ______ had learned he was a country and met everyone else. It was very obvious they loved each other, even America noticed this fact. Oblivious Alfred could see their love, but they couldn't! Alfred would constantly tease the both of them by doing strange acts. One day he would give _______ a little nudge, getting her off balance and into England's arms only for them both to jump away and apologize.
Though they did have moments of being close to each other, almost telling each other about how much they cared. How their love ran thick through their brains and how they were always on each other's minds. How ______ loved those golden locks and emerald eyes, she could stare into them all day. How Arthur always lost himself in those lovely (e/c) orbs, always wishing to stroke the soft (h/c) hair on her head. He wanted to caress those sweet lips of hers with his own and hold her close while he wou-no no no, those thought were too ungentlemanly. He would wait for that.
Years past and they grew closer and closer. ______ was now the age of 26, having been 19 before. England was just now going through preparation and getting pep talks from America.
"Blast! How do I tell her?!" he proclaimed, growing frustrated and running his fingers through his hair.
"Dude! Really?! Just tell her!" America laughed at his friends anger.
"No, you dolt! This has to be done properly!"
"So, like, romantically and all that crap?" America questioned.
"Yes," England said, rolling his eyes." Now do you have any ideas?"
"Dude,we could, like, go on a group picnic-or something, and you could tell her as the sun was setting..." America suggested as he gulped more of his soda.
"America," Arthur groaned. "That's a-...great idea, actualy..."
"I know, I'm a genius~" America stated with a smug grin.
One again England rolled his eyes this time thick sarcasm rolled off his toung. "Well, 'Mr. Genius', let's get everything planned."
With that, both men, gathered everyone, excluding ______, to explain their plan. England was to ready himself, while everyone else gathered supplies. France was to prepare the food. America and China were on decoration duty and everyone else was just supposed to show up!
It was August 18, the air was warm, but not too warm as there was a breeze from the northeast. It was comfortable, only a slight cloud cover, providing shade. It had rained the night before so there were fresh puddles on the ground.
"Perfect~" England smiled as he looked out his window. "This day, is perfect." He sighed and continued to look out the window until he had to call ______. Promptly after pulling out his phone, he dialed her number and waited as it rang.
"Hello, Arthur~" ______ giggles on the other end.
Just her voice was making him anxious, his heart began to pound and he began to shake with anxiety and excitement. "Hello, love" he said, trying to calm himself down. "I was wondering if you would like to join the others and I for a
group picnic."
"Sure, I'd love too~!" he could see her smiling in his head. "What time and where?"
"Uhm, one and we'll pick you up, don't worry"
"Okay~, well I've got to get ready! Bye~"
He heard the line end before he could say goodbye and hung up his phone. He smiled, her silly antics always caused him to do so. That or they would cause his heart to flutter uncontrollably.
He made himself look presentable and headed out the door to find everyone waiting for him outside.
"Dude! If we don't hurry we won't make it to ______'s on time!" America teased.
They made haste with themselves and got to her home, just barely on time. and knocked on her door.
______ opened the door and looked at everyone. "I can understand America being here at this time, but you're usually early, Arthur." she teased.
He blushed and gripped the door knob opposite to her, pulling it open for her to step out. "Sorry, love."
"It's fine" she smiled sweetly.
His eyes traveled up and down her body. She was wearing a beautiful white summer dress that suited her figure along with white and silver heeled sandals that accented her legs.
"Shall we go?" she inquired and gazed lovingly at Arthur.
"Yes, we shall" he smiled and closed the door, just before heading to the park.
