Description

This is rough design work primarily for my own reference (hence my filing it under "scraps"), but one viewer requested a closer look at this after it appeared in my annual sketchdump.

Note- In Novus Imperium "black matter" refers to a hybrid synthetic-organic material with potent neuro-conductive properties. It's often used in small quantities to link cybernetic prostheses to a patient's nervous system, or to repair minor brain damage. The quantities used to augment the brains of the KAIROS subjects are medically unprecedented.
