tird comission to the dear ! this time its dove again ( the angel boy- hope he looks at least little boylike.)fixing the details in the dress , and for the first time i drew claire whos looking at her new party dress on the mirror^^ the story behind this one is that as to claire its so hard to find fitting pretty dresses( cause she is little tall) both dove and silphie made that little cosy room to plan and make her some pretty clothes^^ dove particularly loves drawing and so i made all those dreses ideas he had on his scretchbook. this particular dress is for a special party or to silphies lovely wedding. as the original outfit claire wears is red and yellow( golden) i tried to keep it on this one and the original forms only made it more fancy and tried to make it inspired in edwardian era( i wanted the fabric to look like satin tho...that would be a little brigther) the second unfinished one would be more fancy and its in softer colors cause its mostly undergarments. i kept her hammer too since its really important to her to have it around and doves harp is there too.
i tried to make the room really cosy and messy cause they spend lots of time there^^ hope you like the colors i used and the final result .
the frame is one of my favorite things and i think it really help keeping this as a series with the other 2. this time i really tried to make some nouveau letters and thanks to the kind tips by about letttering in general i think it looks better than it would be if i did it without the need references as i would if she havent tell me about usisng them. thank you !
i finally got my faber castel super soft pencils and so as they really cover the paper in a much more efective way it didnt took the as much as the silphies and actael one. i hope you like that the colors in general look a little brigther. only i still dont mix them that well so i mixed them with my old scholar pencils and metalics... problaaly thats why the letters at the bottom and the frame wont really stand out as i planned.
