Description

Tipper was furious. Not only did he lose Laurel to that pompous prince, Argus, but he also lost his cousin to that freak Ronin. And to add insult to injury, the wounds he'd received from the larger buck's antlers had begun to bleed again. Storming through the forest, the male went straight for the nearest stream to inspect the damage. Small droplets of red dripped off his swollen cheek and vanished into the water below. Tipper glared at his reflection; five deep gashes ran along the left side of his handsome face and a chip was missing out of his ear. Thank the gods that freak didn't take out his eye! But the wounds would no doubt scar, reminding him daily of his failure. Tipper gave an enraged snort before striking at his reflection with his hoof. How dare Ronin scar up his gorgeous face! How dare he turn Eden against him! How dare he try to act all high and mighty when he won, telling Tipper that he was lucky he respected Eden too much to keep fighting the older buck in front of her.
"Damn you, Ronin," Tipper snarled as he turned and began to walk deep into the forest, "one of these days, you'll let your guard down. And when that day comes, I'll be there to finish what I started today! You'll pay for this...you freak."
