O.C. chickas: Saya, Ara + Eevy by TheBlackDreamLily on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

These three tough broads are the axel and wheel of each respective fanfic. Here're Ara, Saya, and Evangeline's quick backgrounds:

The girl to the left with the sai is Sakura, known exclusively as "Ara," a violent orphan with a cruel past and a crueler past life. She has red-orange hair with blue streaks and freckles. She knows she's not beautiful and expects nothing from nobody. Her only family is her best friend Tenga and his mother, and since her boyfriend's murder has lived a life of silent revenge. She is the uncomplaining brawn behind Tenga's kind smile and hopeful dreams, and even when the Dark Lady turned her into a mechanical beast-slave, she never once faltered in her quest for blood and justice.

The girl, or more woman, in the middle goes by "Saya" these days. Born Takarahime, princess of a woman-less demon kingdom, "Ta-kun" was addressed as a boy and the youngest of 16 demon princes until her father's untimely death in battle left her with the crown, the world's most desired weapon, and the vendettas of her jilted brothers. Woken from a coma that'd been induced to save her life, Takarahime changed her life (probably for the worse) and her name in the quest of the golden-haired being that she dreamed rescued her from her 500-year nightmare. She finds him all right, but too much more info will give away the fanfic! ;) Anyways, Saya isn't much of a princes(s) anymore. She lives on the streets, and lives off whatever her johns are willing to provide. Don't feel too sorry for her, though; she's got quite the God complex hidden under that smirk and thick eyeliner. This hard-partying whore is a domaneering alcoholic, hardcore sex addict, and essentially the polar opposite of straight-edge kiddie-punk Ara... minus the battle-happy thing. That love they both share.

And finally on the right is the Victorian beauty Evangeline. Baroness Evangeline Adolphina VonKlimt, i.e. "Eevy," is cursed. The second daughter of a wealthy merchant and the last daughter of a prestigious but poor noble lady, Eevy's entire family was slaughtered in their sleep when her mother suddenly went crazy. Eevy found her mother laughing hysterically in the moonlight and chanting something in Old German. She then charged at her daughter, but at the last second screamed, dropped the knife, and fell dead on top of her daughter proclaiming the child to be the Angel of Death with her dying whisper. Needless to say, Eevy was pretty screwed up after that. She trusts no one but her cheerful maidservant Amelia, and is handed the baroncy when her mother's last living relative dies of an unknown illness. Suddenly a chain of events is put in effect, and it becomes all too clear that her mother's dying words are coming true. All of the people Eevy comes in contact with, even strangers, suddenly die. Amelia, for some reason, is the only exception. Even the other servants avoid her presence. Then Eevy begins to see the people die before it happens, and tired of watching the consequences of neglecting what she begins to realize is her "birthright and duty," decides, with Amelia's faithful help, to kill the prophecised victims for fate... Well, that's the premise, and it all kinda takes off from there. Eevy is the cold, brooding one of the bunch. Arrogant and beautiful like Saya, Eevy also has Ara's madwoman dedication and rotten luck. She's smarter than the other two, however, and more subtle. A socialite, she smiles and curtsies like any other girl of her good money and standing, and then after dark she becomes once again the Angel of Death, freeing victims from the torture of life and carrying out the dirty work of fate. There is one plus to her macabre adventures, however... the more people Eevy lays to rest for fate, the less people around her are killed off. Only when she plays murdress can she live a normal life. In a cruel irony that tortures her everyday, the young Baroness must choose between herself and her victims, whether they seem to deserve the death in store for them or not.
