Having Endless Fun with AI Art Creation Software [Part 11] - K-Pop Summer Lookbook Fashion

Here's some more fun with Imgcreator.zmo, this time focused exclusively on K-Pop Street Fashion.

The program used to create all of this is here: https://imgcreator.zmo.ai/

I wasn't planning on making more of these videos as the previous 10 weren't doing as well as I'd hoped but as I had a lot of credit on the site I decided to indulge and make another, this time focused on K-pop fashion.

Something a lot of people don't know about me is I actually have a deep love for fashion and K-pop aesthetics, as well as travelling. Combining those attributes with this AI software is a dream and I created tons of great looks and images from it.

The locations used vary from all over the world but mostly are set in and around England. [Most commonly used are Cheltenham, Gloucester, Birmingham, London, St. Ives, Exmouth, Exeter, Torquay & Paignton. Other locations also include Paris, Milan, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Bangkok just to name a few.]

The face model is primarily based on Lee Taemin but Kim Doyoung, Park Jimin, Mark Tuan and Kim Yugyeom were also used. The software rarely gets the models accurate but at least has a decent understanding of what a K-pop idol is supposed to look like so it doesn't really matter who the idol is supposed to be, the software tends to do it's own interpretation on the fly.

The face modelling can sometimes come out a little jank but when it gets it right, it's unbelievably uncanny valley. Honestly, some of this imagery is surreal in how real it is. You would 100% believe these were real people if I hadn't already pointed out they're fake.

That's how scary but also how fascinating AI software can be. What I find even more interesting however is how it interprets real locations and makes it's own alternative versions based on them. The locations in these images are all real but they're not photographs taken out of image searches. No, these locations are all made up on the fly based on how the AI interprets them. That's what makes it so interesting. This is what the AI software believes these locations are like based on the wide array of knowledge it has but limited understanding on how to make them a reality.

The result is fascinating because it's almost as if you're looking through a window into an alternate parallel Universe. This is an alternate reality of London, Birmingham, Hong Kong, Tokyo, etc. But what's more interesting is that these are nicer, cleaner versions of these places. The images paint a photo realistic picture that's better than the reality itself. It presents a clean, perfect world you would want to actually live in.

When watching this video don't just pay attention to the shockingly uncanny valley models, but also look at the scenery behind them and admire how clean and picturesque it all is. Remind yourself that none of it is real but it's fascinating to think that it could be. It's almost as if you're accessing a photo album from another reality itself. That's why I love this software so much. It truly is like accessing a google image search from a parallel world. It really is.

Anyway, enjoy the video.

This may be the last in the series. Sorry if the music is a little unfitting. I try and set the perfect mood for each and every one of my videos but YouTube gets stricter day by day over what music is and isn't allowed so it gets harder and harder to find the right music to set the mood I'm going for.

I have a huge library of music but more than 90% of it would trigger a copyright takedown so my choices are frustratingly limited most of the time. Hence why you tend to hear the same music over and over in these videos. I can never be too sure of what is and isn't allowed
