_Captain's personal log, October 5, 2158. It still feels weird, being called like that. Captain Charles Tucker... Anyway, my transfer and new commission as commanding officer of Intrepid is complete. Admiral Black wanted me to command her, said Starfleet needs experienced people commanding the main-line ships after what happened at Denobula. Phlox is quite agitated, I can't blame him for that. Come to think of it, all of us, both in Intrepid and Enterprise feel it. Let's hope Admiral Black and Commodore Archer know what they're doing..._After the Fall of Denobula, everybody knew what comes next. Denobula was just a staging ground, only a few light-years from Earth. Such an event happened in a couple of mapped realities. In thisparticular reality, Charles Tucker III took over command of Intrepid and was present in the upcoming great battles. In this reality, a man named Linus Randolph also commanded a ship named Polaris and played a crucial role when the Romulans came. Trip Tucker survived the War and continuted to serve as Captain of the Intrepid even after the founding of the Federation.

Okay, ladies and gentlemen, I just had to build the Intrepid. Also, I've recieved a couple of comments regarding Trip's fate. Killing him in canon and retconning him as a spy in the expanded universe is just plain stupid, and I fully agree with that. So here we go, in my continuity, Trip lives on as a war hero, he probably married T'Pol later on. Who knows, I might go full fanboy and set up Archer-Hoshi in the end
