Today a rework of art originally made by brinzeyna and BrushHikka for their Red Triumph universe. Also beware - that swastica is not in any way connected with nazis and its Soviet use actually predates its adoption by nsdap in germany. Enjoy :D

Original description:
The Soviet Union in this world at the time of 1957 is at the peak of its power. The country, led by Frunze, won a protracted war in the Far East with imperial Japan. The territorial acquisitions of the USSR during the reign of Mikhail Vasilyevich are due to the militaristic nature of his policy. The main enemy at the time of the 57th year is the European commune, led by Germany.

Frunze came to power as part of the Triumvirate Zinoviev-Kamenev-Frunze, who overthrew Joseph Stalin in May 1924. After the very Zinoviev and Kamenev themselves suffered the fate of Dzhugashvili.
Ideological disputes with the leader of Germany, Trotsky, led to the fact that the delegation of the Soviet Union was expelled from the Third International. In contrast to the Comintern, the USSR developed the concept of the 4th international. The key role in organizing the world revolution, according to the doctrine of the USSR, was played by the countries of the East and Southeast Asia. The labor movement, ideologists of the 4th International believed, is in the countries of the East at that stage of development that can take power into its own hands. From Asia, it was hoped to spread communist ideas to a large part of the globe. The symbol of the 4th international was the sacred swastika in eastern culture, as a symbol of prosperity and light. This concept pursued, first of all, the interests of the USSR and sought to extend their influence to China, India, Iran. This directly violated the interests of Japan, which inevitably led to a war for the redivision of the sphere of influence. Instead of the idea of dominion in the Pacific Ocean and an attack on the United States, Japanese militarists developed a plan of war with the USSR. Border incidents constantly occurred on the border between the two countries, as well as on the border of the USSR and the puppets of Japan Manzhou-Guo.
In December 1939, Japan attacked the Soviet Union. Taking advantage of the fact that the main forces of the Red Army were concentrated west of the Ural Mountains, as well as the extended communications of the Soviet army, Japan quite successfully occupied and entrenched in Primorye, Sakhalin, Buryatia. Key cities of the region were occupied - Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The offensive began in Kazakhstan and further on to Eastern Siberia. The Soviet Union risked the loss of all of Eastern and Western Siberia. It was vital for Japan to break into Kazakhstan, a source of rich oil and gas deposits, since there was a sharp shortage of fuel in the ranks of the Japanese army. The Japanese hoped, as a result of a quick war and the destruction of key communications, to gain access to Soviet oil in order to wage a long war. The ultimate goal of the war is to expel the Soviet Union from Primorye, protecting its interests in China. But Japan did not have enough resources to break through and occupy Kazakh oil fields. By the forces deployed from beyond the Urals, the Red Army knocked out Japanese troops, first from Kazakhstan, then from Altai. Then there was a long struggle in Western Siberia, however, by the end of 1942 the Soviet Union drove the enemy out of its territory, crossing the border. At this point, most of the Chinese territory was occupied by the Japanese army, so the command could transfer almost the entire army to the fight against the USSR.
As a result, the movement of the Soviet army stopped in the region of Inner Mongolia. The forces of both sides were exhausted, so the need arose to move to peace talks. According to their results, in 1944, the Soviet Union occupied the southern part of Sakhalin, Harbin. The area around the CER was demilitarized. The zones of influence in China were divided as follows - the USSR controlled Mongolia and the newly formed Xinjiang, puppet Manchuria and the Republic of China were inherited in Japan.
During the war with Japan, the Soviet Union almost completely lost control in Europe. The German Communists occupied Italy, formed the European Commune and planned further expansion into the Balkans and the Baltic. As a matter of urgency, the Soviet Union occupied the Baltic states and Finland. Svalbard was demanded in an ultimatum, Norway, which did not receive support, was forced to accept the requirements.
