Description

Recently there was an event in War Thunder which allowed you to (painfully) grind some new vehicles, and I managed to get Merkava Mk. I, the first version of a Israeli main battle tank, to which I have had a certain soft spot due to its unorthodox design which emphasizes crew protection. While originally War Thunder ground forces were limited to tanks from pre-WWII era to early Cold War designs, it has by now expanded to late Cold War vehicles and some even from 1990's, such as M1A1 Abrams, Challenger 2, Leopard 2A5 and T-80U.

This tank looks almost like an M1 Abrams.
