So the two young women made there up off the beach to a row of restaurants that ran along side it. For Becky which restaurant, really was not a consideration, as food had always been more about sustenance than enjoyment, therefore it came to Alison to decide which place to choose. She spotted to fish place that looked good when browsing at other peoples plates, so the two found a table and sat down.
“So what can I get for you” The waitress asked
“Oh I’ll get the calamari to start and the swordfish for a main, please.” Alison replied
“I’ll just get a Caesar salad, please.”
“Come on, just this once you treat yourself to a little bit more, can’t you?” Alison said
“Oh alright, can I get the swordfish as well, please.”
When the food arrived Rebecca had to admit that getting the fish was worth it, as it was delicious. Washing it down with a nice bottle of chardonnay they were sharing made it even better and it gave the pair a chance to have a good chat. They got so carried away that the afternoon started to disappear, as they sat chatting and drinking. After a while Ally suggested they get some desert and a tipsy Becky agreed to something that she usually steered well clear of by choosing to have a slice of gateau. It was every bit as good as the meal earlier and they opted to get a second bottle of wine to share to go with it. In the end they never made it back to the beach, as they only left the restaurant as the sun was starting to set, so they then split up and made there ways back home.
