I thought this fitting for the theme of the story and drawing! 
A duo are seeking some truth, and there is tragedy and betrayal in their midst. Still, as good is their mission, and they follow God, they are ultimately rewarded and freed from some sort of captivity.
This is the ending scene I envision although a lot of the story concept isn't finished. I started this drawing and November and finished yesterday, it only took long because I worked on it really slowly! It'll be included among my monthly art meme. 
Yee. This is their escape after thinking they'd die trapped. Bianca (the other member of the duo) is supposed to be viewing, while Giuseppe stands at the entrance crying for joy!
Recognize the cat creature? Probably not. But Giuseppe is originally from this picture. Bianca is the bird!
