Ladybug and Chat Noir aren't the only ones getting upgrades in the later chapters of Finality. In fact, it's their response to how their enemy, Hawk Moth, has augmented his abilities. Even though he's on borrowed time due to getting hit by-proxy with Chat's power of Cataclysm, Hawk Moth hasn't been swayed. In fact, he figured out how to use the decay to his advantage, using a new apparatus called the Death's Head Gauntlet. With this, he is able to turn his regular Akumas into something much stronger.
Imbued with destructive energy, these so-called "CataKumas" produce Champions with more potential for devastation than ever before, their attacks made substantially more powerful thanks to these upgraded Akumas. Will the heroes be able to fight back against an onslaught of new, stronger villains, and finally unmask Hawk Moth for good? Only one way to find out…
