Several weeks had passed since the beginning of the trail, and somehow they had gone by much quicker than Haku ever expected them to. Meeting new people and exploring new regions was something that he hadn't done for literal decades, and he still highly cherished the chance he had got. Especially when he got to meet such interesting individuals. Maybe... one in particular.

Of course, with the two kids pestering him, figuring out those very foreign, very complicated feelings had been no easy task. And though admittedly it took some coercing, he had grown very fond of the idea of being with someone again.

He was just too old not to know that sometimes, all it takes is a leap of faith...
