This is so beautifully subtle :)

It reminds me of the idea that darkness and light cannot exist without one another, that the germ of one can always be found in the other. I like that distinct line that separates them, though, like a barrier creating an intriguing gradient rather than a sharp contrast, which plays with our perception - much like light and shadows do. A compelling composition, no doubt
