The other day I spotted this "lady" in the market. I couldn't pass her up so, bought her and, I made this portrait of her yesterday.

I haven't gotten to buy any Velvet yet, but I just thought of something, how do you get the background black if you were taking pictures out in public? Do you just bring it with you?

I was at a flower show in Boston and there was this guy there selling huge canvas prints of flowers with black backgrounds, he had a sunflower and asparagus and stuff. I asked him how he did it and he told me that he erased the background in photoshop or something.
