Description

SCC (Sodor China Clay) No.1 'Bill' and No.2 'Ben' are seen ready for their days work at the china clay pits. Not much is known about how the twins arrived on the Island of Sodor although some sources say that they were built in 1948 by W.F Bagnall and arrived on Sodor sometime after 1949. When it's the winter months, as china clay is usually collected around the summer months, they work for Sir Stephen Topham Hatt, although the twins have a spot of history with the NWR engines considering what happen to engines like BoCo and Gordon.
