When it comes to the Qualurians not many humans are even aware of the threats a Qualurian can pose. While many Qualurians serve the ECF as a pilots not many humans know of the Qualurian Scouts the Old Clan's ground pounder force and this likely all for the better. The marketing department would be in for a nightmare if they had to sell vactions with people knowing the scantily clad cat girls could inflict horrible deaths with their bare hands. The Qualurian scout as they are know are meant for long duration with short high intensity combat. As such armor plating and technology is limited in exchange for rapid mobility and lethality.

The suit is similar in construction to a wet suit but is much tougher material able to protect the wearer from bullets. This is due to the light reflective carbon silicate suit requiring specialized lasers to cut and mend the suit. Thankfully even the Qualurian Old Clans find these suits far to pricey for mass production limiting the numbers of soldiers they have to levels of elite assassins. The ECF in some cases leases the Old Clans elite forces out as scouts when the situation calls for it, and the old clans are always happy to keep their elite forces claws sharped with some real kills. The suit hard armor is more or less where the light reflective portions of the suit draw their energy and processing power. The suit can generate active or passive camouflage patterns. In most cases a weapon can be provided like a sniper rifle although given the natural density of Qualurian muscle and bone a few good swipes to the throat of a target with a claw is enough to deal with some enemy. The helmet offers full spectrum of visual and sonic based vision systems with a LIDAR warning system fixed to their suit.
