In an attempt to combine these interests, she started her career as an art therapist in a children’s home. Later in life, she taught herself the ins and outs of web design and made it her profession. However, Roeselien didn't feel at home in an office and the call of nature grew stronger. She decided to take a leap of faith by turning her passion into a job, and she's never been happier! Nowadays, Roselien works as a self-employed nature photographer, author, editor, and interviewer.Crate DetailsAs part of the digital crate, Roeselien included five never-before-seen photos of foxes — her favorite wild animal. All five images are from her homeland of the Netherlands. There's a beautiful image of a fox silhouette against a lovely ombré sunset. Another shows a fox gently sleeping. “I’ve always loved to watch relaxed animals,” the photographer shares. "To me, the most beautiful animals are those that are fully at ease, without any discomfort like hunger, cold, stress, or pain."Fans of all things cute will delight at the picture of a sweet baby kit (fox cub). "I consider it to be a beautiful gift of nature when you are allowed to witness the very first steps of a newborn into this world," Roeselien expresses. There's another young kit from a few months later, where the warm tones of the fur blend well with the dry grass of the Netherlands. "In the more than a decade that I've studied them, I have gotten to know countless foxes, and they are all so different," says the photographer. But the fox photographed walking through the snow is one of her favorites. In addition to the photographs, Roeselien also provided an image and detailed description of her gear bag for current and aspiring photographers. There's even a list of fun facts so you can get to know Roeselien a little better!Check out the August Creative Crate!...
