Eucalyptus branch. This is a purely decorative technique, where everything is based on accurate calculation - because there is no glazing here, as it might seem at first, but washes in one layer. Different parts of the leaves are filled with different colors and different tones. Due to this the extraordinary transparency of the watercolor is achieved.
But you can't make a mistake at all: one mistake - and the whole drawing is ruined. It's almost like creating a stained glass window, but only with paints and on paper

Веточка эвкалипта. Это новая для меня чисто декоративная техника, где все строится на точном расчете – потому что тут не лессировки, как может показаться сначала, а заливки в один слой. Только разные части листьев заливаются разным цветом и разным тоном. За счет этого достигается необыкновенная прозрачность акварели. Но ошибиться вообще нельзя: одна ошибка – и весь рисунок испорчен. Это почти как создание витража, но только красками и на бумаге
