What's wrong with being a hippie?
If you ask me, the hippie stereotype came to be because of people who hate peace.

I think that it's time that we put aside old labels and reevaluate who we are. Peace means to speak out against all violence. It isn't just war, it's hate, domestic violence and abuse of all life.

Peace is directly related to human rights, animal rights, environmental rights and the peace movement. And yes even the drug movement because much violence is committed because of the underground economies created through prohibition.

So, it's all really related. And you can't have global peace without tackling every issue.

Hippies are awesome. The general idea of being a hippie is a strong believer of peace, happiness, individuality, equality, and love, and they expressed their support by performing rebellious acts, protests, growing out their hair, not bathing for days, and using psychedelic drugs.

People just stereotyped hippies as dirty and stupid humans because of the first impression. If people were smart enough to ask why the hippies did such things, then we wouldn't have this mess. But people aren't smart enough.

Fucking society. They don't even understand hippies. hippies are the nicest people in the world, yet society continues to shit on them...

I'm a hippie, and I'm fucking proud of it. Because I support peace, love, equality, individualism, peaceful anarchy, and freedom. I'm not a hippie because I smoke weed, I just so happen to enjoy that.

I hate it when people have absolutely no respect for the groups of people that just so happen to support the best things in the world.
