Commission - Trapped Warrior by tipofthemoon on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

The dense forest was silent, Kumo, a seasoned warrior known for his skill and bravery, had ventured deep into the woods, hunting down a notorious group of bandits who had terrorized nearby villages.

But the bandits were clever, and Kumo was unaware of the trap they had set. As he stepped forward, the ground gave way beneath him. A hidden rope, woven from thick vines, sprang up, ensnaring him. Before he could react, the mechanism activated, hoisting him high into the air.

“Well, well,” the leader sneered, “looks like we caught ourselves a prize. The great Kumo, helpless as a babe.” “Let’s take him back to camp,” the leader ordered. “We’ll fetch a good price for him on the black market. A warrior like him? People would pay a fortune.

They untangled him from the rope, but before Kumo could even think of resisting, they forced him to the ground and quickly tied him upside down to a sturdy tree branch. They bound his wrists and ankles with thick rope, ensuring he couldn't escape.

A rough cloth was shoved into his mouth, silencing any protest he might have made. His mind racing as he tried to come up with a plan to free himself. They spoke of selling him like a commodity, stripping him of his dignity, his identity, and everything he had fought for.
