This photo is as elegant as it gets. Every detail speaks delicate and beautiful. Full view this photo to get the full experience, but the thumb is gorgeous as well. The way the colors naturally work well together, especially against this black background. Against a white one, the effect wouldn't have worked. The various curves formed by the flower's continuous petal are voluptuous and they create the perfect eye path required to keep ones attention for a lengthier period of time than a few seconds other photographs hold. Every detail from the various textures to the immaculate clearness of focus make this photo. I enjoy the imperfections as well. This photo could have been easily photoshopped to get rid of the random flecks of dirt here and there, but I think they add to the photo. It makes a statement and could easily be interpreted as a diamond in the rough, or of similar taste.

I have vowed to not write a critique without actually critiquing the deviation, so here is my suggestion. The only thing I can nitpick at is the position of the flower in frame. It could be shifted down and to the left a hair. This is extremely minuscule, but very well could be done.
