Dr. Krankcase from the Skylanders franchise. How does one sit down with biomechanical wooden spider leg prosthetics anyways?

And yes, after drawing this sketch just for practice, I had to draw this guy for real. Poor guy. He had legs. Once.

I really had to get this out of my system because I ended up falling in love with this guy pretty quickly. I ended up loving this boss battle a lot - especially his in-game banter and just the general aesthetic of it - and just had to draw him, even though inking his legs proved to be, well, a hassle since he has five of them and all.

I just love that Dr. Krankcase is just such a friendly dude. I think of the Doom Raiders that later became Senseis in the sixth game, he was the easiest to reform; his one condition was that he was still going to say as many goo puns as he desired and Eon was like "yep, it's completely fine" and he got his little skylander figure and everything.

Lime green light sources will always be my bread and butter.
