Personality:
Duchess is a really protective mare, she wants the best for her friends and will do everything for them.

She is a very good fighter (she fights with puma and coyotes) and can takes care of the herd. She is really loyal to the herd. She also has a good agility and speed.
Duchess can be really aggressive if someone attack her. She can be possessive sometimes.

The little problem is the fact that she is... very stubborn and when she wants something, she will obtain it.

History:
Duchess wasn't born in a herd and was very close to her mother Melay. When she grew up, her mother and her were caught by humans and they brought them into a dressage center. The humans tried to train her, for competition or to sell her, because she was young. She was separated from Melay, and Duchess learnt that she died because of sadness.
From then, Duchess wouldn't stop kicking and rearing. We couldn't touch her anymore. She became very agressive and protective.

One day, humans attached to a stick outside of the center, she was really thin...
A horse came and met her, a stallion with a paint dunalino coat. She hasn't the strength to break the stick so he broke it and freed her. They walk for days and they became friends... The stallion accepted Duchess in his herd.
His name was Amaleki.
